Ministers of the Word
Ministers of the Word (Lectors) are the storytellers of the community and lovers of the Word who desire to communicate the Good News to the community. They proclaim God’s Word at Saturday and Sunday liturgies & other special liturgical celebrations, and they are scheduled to minister once a month.
Training and preparation materials are provided, and ministers must participate in yearly formation. Volunteers need to have completed the sacraments of initiation and to be pray-ers of Sacred Scripture.
