Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization that was formed in 1882 by Father McGiveny who was from New Haven, Connecticut. At that time the organization was formed to provide help to the widows and orphans of deceased Catholic men.

This fraternal organization espouses the principals of: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. At this time the global organization provides over 50 million hours of community service and donations of gifts of charity of about $100,000,000 annually. The Knights organization also funds all television broadcasts from the Vatican.

The St. John Francis Regis Council has been commissioned to promote vocations in our Parish. All Catholic men are invited to join the council. The council meets at 7:30 PM on the first Wednesday of every month.
