The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization that was formed in 1882 by Father McGiveny who was from New Haven, Connecticut. At that time the organization was formed to provide help to the widows and orphans of deceased Catholic men.
This fraternal organization espouses the principals of: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The St. John Francis Regis Council has been commissioned to promote vocations in our parish. The council sponsors speakers who address theological topics, and it holds pancake breakfasts and other activities throughout the year.
All Catholic men are invited to join the Council. The Council meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month.
