Protecting God's Children

In accordance with the Archdiocese of Detroit, all persons having contact with children, the elderly or physically disabled must have a criminal background check and complete a Protecting God’s Children workshop.

This includes pastors, priests, secretary’s, teachers, administrators, parent volunteers, scout leaders, enrichment teachers, catechists, lunch supervisors, room moms, coaches, all paid parish and school personnel and all volunteers.

Please set aside the time to attend one of the many Protecting God’s Children workshops available to you – at no cost, a complete listing of the scheduled workshops in the Archdiocese is available online.

St. Regis will also host one or more training sessions on site every year. View the current schedule here.
